New album of jazz avant-garde trio Honeymunch
New album of jazz avant-garde trio Honeymunch is now available
We are pleased to announce the release of Honeymunch's new album "Kaleidoscope" featuring electric trumpet, keyboards and bass. The jazz avant-garde trio takes you on a musical journey into the spiritual jazz genre with a unique sound.
musikmussmit.de writes: " Already when looking at the length of the tracks it becomes clear: The new album of the jazz combo "Honeymunch" is not music that you just listen to on the side. The three musicians from Düsseldorf don't make it under six minutes. And actually one cannot speak (typically Ambient) of individual pieces. The 60 minutes, which were released in August under the name "Kaleidoscope", are rather a total work of art in the tradition of spiritual jazz: instrumental, minimalistic, psychedelic. In contrast to old masters of the genre like John Coltrane, who concentrated on acoustic instruments, Honeymuch mix acoustic and electronic sounds: this ranges from trumpet to electric bass to electric pianos (synthesizer & Fender Rhodes). Norbert Könner, Andreas Stickel and Ralf Stritt create with their instruments a sound carpet that constantly oscillates between spherical transfiguration and clear melodies."
Honeymunch is known for its electrifying live performances. "Our latest trio album, Kaleidoscope, is a reflection of our spontaneous creativity and passion for music. It is an album that demonstrates our group's ability to combine jazz with avant-garde sounds to create something truly unique.
The album is now available on all music streaming platforms, including Spotify, Amazon Music, Apple Music, Tidal and many more. Whether you're a fan of jazz, electronic music, or just live music, "Kaleidoscope" is an album you won't want to miss.
With a running time of over an hour, "Kaleidoscope" takes the listener on a sonic journey that is both soothing and energetic. The trio's chemistry is undeniable and I'm proud to be a part of it.
