WDR Jazzpreis, Funkhaus Wallraffplatz Cologne

As a trumpet player and member of the CSM Big Band Dusseldorf, I was thrilled when we received the WDR Jazz Award back in 2007. It was an incredible honor to perform live with the band and as a soloist at the Großer Sendesaal in Funkhaus Wallraffplatz, Cologne.

The concert was broadcasted by WDR and showcased the unique talents of each member of the band. As a trumpet player, I was particularly proud to be part of such a dynamic and talented ensemble. The energy and enthusiasm of the crowd were electric, and I was honored to have the opportunity to share my passion for jazz music with such a receptive audience.

Being recognized with the WDR Jazz Award for our big band was an unforgettable experience that will stay with me forever.
